What Blessings foundation aims to do is help those who have less and are on the street or families in the need with food, clothes, and hygiene essentials. We want to help those who are suffering from hunger, and the lack of the being able to provide for them self daily needs of living with things such as food, clothes, and hygiene products.

Blessings foundation inc started 3 years ago but became and official nonprofit in April of 2023. It started with the CEO of the foundation and her 3 children feeding the homeless every month together and grew from there.

Blessings Inc. has already made a substantial impact by distributing 200 lunch bags every week. However, the demand for our services continues to grow, and it is becoming increasingly challenging to meet it with our current resources. We urgently require additional support to sustain and expand our hunger relief programs.

The need for hunger relief in our community has reached alarming levels, with an increasing number of individuals and families struggling to access regular meals. According to recent reports, the homeless population has significantly grown, and many are facing severe hunger on a daily basis. It is estimated that approximately 200 individuals in our community rely on Blessings Inc. for a nourishing lunch each week.

The lack of access to nutritious food not only poses immediate health risks but also perpetuates the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Hunger weakens individuals physically and mentally, making it difficult for them to seek employment or pursue educational opportunities. By addressing this critical need, Blessings Inc. aims to provide not only sustenance but also a foundation for individuals to rebuild their lives.
With the generous contributions from individuals, organizations, and businesses, we can:

1. Increase the number of lunch bags distributed each week to reach a larger portion of the homeless population in need.
2. Improve the nutritional value of the lunch bags by incorporating fresh produce and other essential food items.
3. Establish partnerships with local farmers and suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of quality food for our programs.
4. Develop educational initiatives to promote long-term solutions to hunger, such as cooking classes and job training programs.

Blessings foundation is near and dear to my heart because it relates to my inner child. As a child my mother was a single mom like me and had issues financially to provide and keep a roof over me and my siblings head. We barely eat once a day if that and did sleep in the car, bus stations shelters, and on peoples floors when all else was no longer available. So as one who has lived the homeless life as a child I want to give back to those what I wish someone had given to that little girl at that time in my life. So this organization is very special to me. I hate to see any human being lacking in the basics one needs to be able to survive another day on this earth.
