Global Creation Foundation

Profile Current (Last updated: Apr 15, 2025 )

OUR STORY

Global Creation Foundation (GCF) was founded in 2023 after a visit to Camp Bidi Bidi, one of the largest refugee camps in the world. While there, founder Seth Kaser recognized a deep desire among students to learn music—but no access to instruments, teachers, or technology that could make it possible.

What began with a single set of donated ukuleles and a video series filmed on an iPhone quickly grew into something much larger. GCF launched its first program in Uganda, resulting in 80 students learning to play music for the first time. The students’ performance on UNICEF World Children’s Day gained national attention, affirming the transformative power of arts education.

Today, GCF partners with schools, churches, and orphanages in underserved communities across the globe. With support from leading music brands like Taylor Guitars, Kyser Capos, and SAGA Music, GCF provides donated instruments and beginner-friendly video instruction. By Fall 2025, the organization will have active programs in Uganda, Peru, Nepal, Kenya, and Romania.

Rooted in the belief that creativity can restore hope and build confidence, GCF’s mission is simple:
“Arts Education For Every Nation.”

I'm so proud to be part of GCF. "Arts Education For Every Nation." It's possible! We just have to be creative in our solutions! I invite you to join us in our mission. Help kids around the world be creative, process through their trauma, and be transformed through music and art!

Impact Statement

Global Creation Foundation exists to bring arts education to underserved communities around the world, not only as a form of creative expression, but as a powerful tool for healing, development, and lasting transformation.

Our work is rooted in research showing that creative learning—especially through music and the arts—improves cognitive abilities, strengthens brain development, enhances language acquisition, and builds emotional resilience. These benefits are especially vital for children who have experienced trauma, displacement, abuse, or violence. For students rescued from sex trafficking, living in refugee camps, or growing up in orphanages, access to the arts can be life-changing.

In our first program in Uganda, 80 students learned to play the ukulele using just 10 donated instruments and a beginner video series. Their performance during UNICEF World Children’s Day gained national attention and showed how creativity can spark confidence, connection, and joy in the face of hardship.

By Fall 2025, GCF will expand into Peru, Romania, Nepal, and Kenya. We partner with local schools, churches, and orphanages to provide instruments, video-based instruction, and sustainable support. Every program includes:

Donated creative tools from partners like Taylor Guitars, Kyser Capos, and SAGA Music

Beginner-friendly video instruction designed for kids who may be learning from technology for the first time

Support and encouragement for local leaders, teachers, and volunteers

GCF is committed to bringing "Arts Education For Every Nation" because we believe creativity doesn’t just teach kids how to play or draw—it gives them hope, a voice, and a path forward.

Needs Statement

In many parts of the world, children grow up without access to basic arts education. In refugee camps, orphanages, rural villages, and underfunded schools, instruments are scarce, creative instruction is nonexistent, and opportunities for self-expression are few. This lack of access is not just an educational gap—it’s a missed opportunity for healing, confidence-building, and cognitive development.

Research shows that music and the arts play a vital role in childhood development. They enhance brain function, language skills, emotional regulation, and social connection. These benefits are even more critical for children who have experienced trauma, including displacement, abuse, and exploitation. For these children, creativity is more than a classroom activity—it can be a lifeline.

Yet, despite the clear evidence, arts programs are often the first to be cut or entirely overlooked in regions facing poverty and crisis. This is where Global Creation Foundation steps in.

By providing donated instruments, beginner-friendly video instruction, and sustainable program support, GCF brings creative education to the students who need it most. Whether in Uganda, Peru, Nepal, or beyond, we are building a global network of creative access—so that every child, no matter their background, has the chance to learn, create, and heal.
