Community Impact Programs

The OC Veterans Initiative addresses the issues facing veterans returning home from service. Our goal is to help Orange County veterans achieve a successful transition from military service to a civilian life that offers steady employment, stable housing, and security promising a future for them and their families. Immigrants have shaped Orange County throughout our history, and our future depends on successfully incorporating the skills and talents of our diverse communities. The OC Opportunity Initiative helps immigrants realize their full potential through outreach, education and legal services to ensure their full participation in the economic and civic life of our county. Our OC Nonprofit Central website shares information on hundreds of local nonprofits working in the areas of human services, education, the environment, veterans services, health and wellness, arts and culture, and youth development.
